Winter Films

Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
As winter has now come on us it is now time to start to get our favorite winter films. The winter film which i have chosen is miracle on 34th street 1994. i have chosen this film particularly for its wonderful Christmas message and even those who are not fans of the Christmas holidays for their own various reasons will still admit that this a great movie for the family or just on your own. For me a personal and timeless classic.

The Holiday (2006)
probably not your obvious winter film, but i think it is warming with the snow scenes and the cottage in england, with its rustic looks, however the other half of the film is set in the sun in the US so not really one for those looking for a pure winter setting, but nevertheless it is still a nice film to watch

The Santa Clause (1994)
this is a great film for the family, and one that i make the effort to sit down and watch every year, with its warm charm and magic it really does give the winter spirit however if you are looking for something a little less Christmas you could always watch the sequel The Santa Clause 2 as it is less based around the panics of Christmas
The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
this is one of the films that you can never be to old to watch, i have seen the excitement in adults faces when this film comes on. with its humorous story it is a real winter classic.
